These technologies can be as simple as the provision of an energy efficient compact fluorescent globe up to a complete facility refit of air-conditioning, lighting and motor starters and controllers.

Taking the Mt Morgan's 32 Kw solar generation project as an example, an extensive energy audit was carried out, changes where made to the lighting and air-conditioning within the buildings, energy consumption was reduced from over 300 units of electricity per day to 180 units per day, with no loss of comfort or convenience.
